Nainital is a glittering jewel in the Himalyan necklace, blessed with scenic natural spledour and varied natural resources. Dotted with lakes, Nainital has earned the epithet of 'Lake District' of India . The most prominent of the lakes is Naini lake ringed by hills. Nainital has a varied topography. Nainital’s unending expense of scenic beauty is nothing short of a romance with awe-inspiring and pristine Mother nature.
One can see a variety of Himalayan species along the way such as lammergeier, Himalayan griffon, blue-winged minla, spotted & slaty-backed forktail, rufous-bellied woodpecker, rufous-bellied niltava, khalij pheasant, variety of thrushes etc. Almost 150 bird species have been recorded at Sigri and surrounding areas.The numerous perennial & seasonal creeks are home to an amazing variety of flora and fauna including the leopard, yellow-throated Himalayan martins, Himalayan palm civet, ghoral, barking deer, sambhar etc.
About the Property:-
Kamp Land Nature Resort is 16 kilometers from Nainital, the drive takes only 30 minutes to get there. The entire drive is through the forested area of China Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury, the main habitats for excellent birding.
Kamp Land Nature Resort is surrounded by mountains, cut by deep and lush valleys from all sides. Silver oak abounds the region amid some Himalayan fauna and birds that are often spotted by passers by.
The popular hill station, Nainital is in the neighbourhood, Corbett National Park and other sightseeing places of the region are all within commutable distance for day trips.
Private parking available. We also provide camping tents for individual and groups for their adventure trips on reasonable rent.
