The Sattal Forest - Sattal

Of all the lakes in the famous lake district of Nainital, if their is any one lake that is most likely to take your breath away, then it has to be one of the 7 little lakes of the aptly names Sattal.

Sattal has somehow managed to escape the attention and crowds of Nainital and even Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal. The only living creatures who repeatedly throng this luscious green hill forest area abound with water are the birds - now famously known as the Sattal Birds.
